Summary

Idle Bank Run stores game progress locally on your device. The Android app does not request Internet permission and does not currently collect personal data, run advertising, or use analytics SDKs.

Data stored on your device

• Bank name you enter
• Up to five local save slots with full game progress (Android)
• Browser edition: one save in localStorage on the same device and browser
• Optional purchase entitlements (when billing is added), stored separately from exported saves
• Light/dark theme preference

Data we do not collect

• Real bank account information
• Contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera data
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or crash telemetry (current build)

Export and import

You may export a .ibrsave file to a location you choose. Exported files contain your game progress and bank name. Purchase entitlements are not included in exports and cannot be transferred via save files.

Browser edition

The web version at /play stores progress in your browser's localStorage. Data stays on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Clearing browser data or using a different browser will not carry your save over.

Android backup

Game saves and entitlements are excluded from Android cloud backup and device-to-device transfer by default.

Simulated finance disclaimer

Idle Bank Run is a fictional financial simulation. It does not connect to real bank accounts, execute real trades, or use live market data. Nothing in the game is financial, legal, tax, insurance, or investment advice.

Future changes

If we add optional in-app purchases, analytics, or network features, this policy and the in-app Privacy & Data screen will be updated before those features ship. Google Play's Data Safety section will be kept accurate.
